Hey guys! Wow, April's almost over, isn't it? Those few works are for the monthly prompts at lands_of_magic - more specifically, the candy one. I hope they leave a nice taste in your mouth!

Title: Sweet Dreams
Fandom: Fire Emblem Awakening
Gaius threw another delicious candy in his mouth - if something could be too sweet, this one would take the prize. Heavy taste of strawberry filled his mouth, grainy as if he had eaten a whole bag of sugar at once. (He had done it a few times when there were no real sweets in sight.)
The wind ruffled the brittle leaves and hid the chewing sound. Would anyone even hear him? The rich lords had too much on their cracked plate, after all. They had to work on counting their piles of political money and speaking out of their asses. By tomorrow, their endless gold would belong to Gaius. Enough coins to leave behind his days as a thief, enough riches to get a palace on his own, and accomplished chef to prepare him thousands of sweets…
All rare kinds of delicious cakes from Valm to Ylisse, sweet syrups form Rosalina, sugar from across oceans… Gaius licked his lips, tasting the remaining sweetness. Tomorrow it all would be his.
Title: Taste of a Future
Fandom: Baccano!
"Hey, Isaac!" A hand promptly broke from the mighty pile of chocolates, sending red and yellow warps everywhere. "Can you hear me?"
Another part of the delicious mountain responded with muffled sounds. It shuffled, someone trying to swim up from the boundless sea of colorful packets. "I can, Miria!"
They lay in the sweet pile, as if it was the softest mattress ever, moving only to pick up another piece of candy. Dark chocolate, bitter like their past. White chocolate as shiny as their future. Strawberry chocolate, sweeter than their present.
"Will we ever manage to eat all of those sweets?" Miria peeled the golden folio and bit off a piece of the chocolate - this one tasting like fresh mint. "I don't think the pile will ever end!"
"Don't you see, Miria?" Isaac pushed himself out of the pile, causing a minor avalanche of sweets. "We aren't going to eat them all at once."
"Aren't we?" Miria looked at her half-eaten chocolate bar. "But you said we were going to feast like the Great Eastern Emperors."
"No, no, no," Isaac explained his new, even more brilliant idea. "You know how candy never rots?" After Miria's nod, Isaac continued.
"Since we are thieves, we will have to go on the run at some point. We will need provisions, and —" Isaac opened another package "— we are going to eat the excess candy then!"
Oh, Isaac, you are so clever!" Miria found another bar in a shiny green warping, but before she opened it, she threw it back. "No, we are keeping them!"
"Don't worry, Miria!" Isaac gently threw a red box in her direction. "We have so much candy that we are never going to run out!"
Title: The Jewel in the Cake Crown
Fandom: Fairy Tail
Silver plate, polished until it shone like the brilliant moon. Holding a silver fork in her shaking fingers, Erza prepared to eat a bite from the decorated cake.
Glazed with topping, as fluffy as could, the sweet slice lied in the plate. Under the white gown, faint strawberry red lines divided the tender, doughy body. Anything else Erza would have soaked it with syrup until the whole cake swam in burning red. But she was eating the three-layered dream tower 'Strawberry Wonderland', the greatest cake in the world. How could she ever taint that sacred relic with her meddling? Everything - from the bight-red strawberry lying in a cream rose to the dainty crumbs that fell as Erza carefully dug the fork deeper - had become a part of a sweet ritual. The bite entered her mouth. The moment of divine revelation.
An explosion of pleasure blossomed on Erza's tongue. Sweet, but not overly so; gentle sourness - a tinging feeling on her tongue that let her carving for more. For a second, frozen in time, she could not think. Tasty, lovely, delicious - more powerful than a kiss. Blown by the perfect combination, Erza dropped her fork. The slight ring of glittering silver striking the table passed through the sugar fog and forced her back to her senses.
"Requip! Fork!" After summoning the utensil back in her hand - how could she waste time picking it? - she attacked the delicious cake again.
